what happens to your details
There are two places on this site where you can hand over information: the note form and the mailing list. Beyond those, the site keeps a simple count of visits — how that works is below. This page says what each one takes, why, and how to get it back out.
Sending a note
The form asks for your name, your email address, and what you are after. A phone number and a date are optional — leave them blank and nothing is stored in their place.
What you send is saved so it can be read and answered, and two emails go out: one to you confirming it arrived, one to the studio saying it is waiting. Your note is read by the photographer. It is not shared with anyone else, and it is never sold.
The mailing list
Joining stores your email address and nothing else — no name, no location, no record of what you opened or clicked. You will be sent one message asking you to confirm; if you do not confirm, the address is never written to and is cleared out.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately and needs no reply, no login and no reason. You can also write and ask to be taken off.
Counting visits
This site counts its visitors. The counting runs on the same computers that serve the pages — nothing is sent to an analytics company. It notes which pages are viewed, the kind of device and browser used, and the general region a visit comes from. It sets no cookies, and your address is used for a moment to tell one visitor from another, then dropped — nothing kept identifies you.
What this site does not do
There are no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts on this site. Visiting sets no cookies. Nobody is building a profile of you here, and no information collected through this site is sold or handed to advertisers.
Your address is not stored alongside what you sent. It is used only for a moment, to stop the forms being flooded, and it is not kept in the records of your note or your subscription.
Who else can see it
Two services sit in the path and cannot be avoided: the network that serves this site, which handles the request the way any host does, and the provider that carries the email. Both see what they need to deliver and nothing beyond it. Neither is given anything for their own use.
Getting it removed
Ask, and it goes. Write to [email protected] and say what you want deleted — your note, your place on the list, or both. You do not have to explain why, and you will get a reply confirming it is done.
Notes are kept while there is a reason to keep them: an ongoing conversation, a booking, or the studio’s own record of work. Mailing list addresses are kept until you leave the list.
